Is there a season 5?
Last updated . Sources are linked in the text.
The original Castlevania ended with season 4. Netflix calls it the final season; the continuation to watch is the separate series Castlevania: Nocturne, not an unreleased fifth season.
Update history
: Reviewed linked sources, availability and the scope of the answers below. Reported findings are distinguished from publisher specifications and editorial recommendations.
The 2017 series
It has four seasons and 32 episodes. The Netflix Media Center explicitly describes season 4 as the final season. That supports “ended at four,” rather than merely guessing from a missing season 5 listing.
Do not confuse it with Nocturne
Nocturne is a separate series with two seasons. Calling Nocturne "season 5" is a nickname, not the title on the poster. Use watch order if you only needed the sequence.
Official sources
Netflix: Nocturne premise and English cast; Netflix: season 2 date, returning cast and story. Status checked 16 October 2026; unpublished production decisions cannot be inferred from a catalogue.
