Castlevania spellings and Japanese name

Last updated . Sources are linked in the text.

Castlevania is the English brand spelling. Japanese releases also use Akumajo Dracula; individual subtitles differ. Search typos are not separate games or evidence of an official localized title.

English typos

If you searched Castelvania, Castlevenia or Castlvania, the intended brand is usually Castlevania. These are search misspellings, not separate Konami products. For the games use the game directory; for the animated series use the Netflix guide.
Belmont's Curse and Belmont's Revenge are both real titles, not alternative spellings of one game. Use the Curse versus Revenge comparison to distinguish the 2026 release from the 1991 Game Boy game.

Japanese and the show

Japanese: Akumajo Dracula (悪魔城ドラキュラ), as shown in Konami's Japanese portal. Akumajo and Akumajō are romanization variants, not different games. Individual releases have their own subtitles, and some Japanese releases also use the Castlevania brand.
Nocturne is the Netflix series; Symphony of the Night is the 1997 game. Similar translations of their titles do not make them the same work. Korean, Chinese and Russian search variants are not labeled official regional product titles here without publisher evidence.
