Recommended viewing: Castlevania seasons 1 through 4, then Nocturne seasons 1 and 2. That is 48 released episodes across two series, not six seasons of one title.

Starting fresh or returning?

Start at Castlevania season 1 for the complete animated story. If you finished season 4, move directly to Nocturne season 1; there is no intervening film or required game. A returning Nocturne viewer should finish season 1 before season 2.

These are adult horror series, not a children's introduction to the games. Netflix maturity ratings and content advisories vary by country; check the listing shown for your region before watching.

What not to insert

There is no season 5 of the first show to place between season 4 and Nocturne. A live-action film is not part of the order. Games are optional homework, not episodes. Status pages: season 5, movie.
