Two heroes in 3D

Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez lead the Nintendo 64 adventure. Legacy of Darkness is a related but separate release.
Konami identifies Reinhardt Schneider and magic-user Carrie Fernandez as playable heroes with different routes, boss encounters and endings. Legacy of Darkness is a separate Nintendo 64 release, not another name for this game. Neither is included in the four profiled modern collections.

Where to play

Not included in Anniversary, Advance, Dominus or Requiem. Original hardware is the historical option; a release-history entry alone is not proof of a current digital download.
For release versus story order, separate this game from later ports and collections.

Questions

Why do release dates differ?

The selected table uses the common 1999 release label. Konami's US history instead displays 31 December 1998. This source discrepancy is disclosed rather than silently treating one date as a worldwide launch.

Which collection includes it?

None of the four classic collections. See the acquisition section for original platforms or the separate PC product. A history page is not proof of a modern rerelease.
