Belmont's Curse walkthrough

Checked 16 October 2026: the opening route below summarizes Jeremy Blum's published Rock Paper Shotgun walkthrough, not my own playthrough. Its text guide is still growing; IGN also publishes a video sequence through the endings.

Opening route: Paris to the first boss

Follow RPS Part 1: Paris Streets for annotated maps. From the Seine, head east into the sewers; wall-jump to the lever at the dead end, then climb toward the Ruined Market.
Talk to the Spirit near the wooden platforms. Below it, break the left wall in the barrel alcove, pull the concealed lever and drop through the opened grate. Take the right-hand path to the first Mirror of Life.
Continue through the Sewer Reservoir and Path of the Rat. Speak to the Spirit outside the boss door, then face The Fallen. After winning, exit right into the Abandoned Sewers for the Arcane Whip traversal tutorial. These are RPS's reported steps, not independently replayed instructions.

Demo secret: get the Cestus

According to RPS's illustrated Demo secret guide, first defeat The Fallen and obtain the Arcane Whip. Return to the Sewer Reservoir just beyond the first Mirror of Life. Stand on the grate aligned with the large background staircase, whip straight upward to reveal a hidden Anchor, and climb to the chest. Collect the Cestus and prepare for the enemies that appear.
For continuing progress, RPS Part 1 covers returning to the streets, climbing the Prison Tower and fighting Joan. Its walkthrough index links Parts 1 and 2, but later text chapters were still marked Coming soon when checked. Do not mistake that index for a finished 100 percent guide.

Castle progression, endings and save transfer

IGN's opening video begins its published walkthrough sequence. The final video page lists related chapters through the castle, normal ending, final collectibles and true ending, with written timestamps. Those are external recorded routes; this page is an opening summary, not an original complete walkthrough.
The official demo notes allow progress transfer on the same platform and account, retaining the demo save and updating the full game to its latest version. Steam app 5000760 is the Demo, not gallery DLC.
